Due to expansion and forecasted growth, this leading provider of payment software, solutions and services requires a new business orientated Business Development Manager to sell their solutions into a wide range of end users.

The Package

£45,000 to £50,000 basic,

£80,000 to £90,000 OTE

Car allowance

Pension Scheme + flexible benefits package

25 days holiday

Our client runs independently, but is a part of a very large group who specialise in providing software and electronic solutions into a variety of end users.

The Role
The Business Development Manager will be selling a range of software solutions into a wide range of clients, including Councils, hospitals, schools, SME's and also other corporate clients. The role will be predominantly new business, supported by marketin, but you will also be responsible for adding solutions and services to existing accounts too. You will receive pre-sales and technical support, but some knowledge of software solutions will help.

Dealing with order values of up to £50k, the target for a new sales person is £85k per month

The Person
The Business Development Manager must have a proven track record in a new business environment. In addition you will have:

  • Proven experience in winning business via tenders
  • Experience of selling software solutions, ideally into Financial decision makers
  • Effective networking skills
  • A Consultative sales manner
  • The ability to work with others in the team
  • Very strong presentation skills
