Housing Management Paralegal
A leading Devon legal practice is seeking to appoint a Paralegal to join their housing management team in Exeter.
The Social Housing team advise across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including site acquisition and assembly, conditional contracts and planning; rent arrears, anti-social behaviour and possession proceedings; strategic aspects of housing associate activities; and sheltered schemes etc.
The successful candidate will have Paralegal experience, paired with solid networking and business development skills. Social Housing experience will be advantageous, though applications are encouraged from Paralegals within other practice areas.
Day to Day
On a daily basis you can expect to advise on all aspects of housing management and housing law, acting on behalf of the firms social landlord clients. As you develop within the role, your caseload will expand to both contentious and non-contentious matters including rent arrears, possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour injunctions, common law breach of contract injunctions and general property litigation work.
