Sales Consultant (Publishing / Advertising Industry)

My local-to-Norwich client is seeking some dedicated, hard-working and talented sales consultants to join their ever-growing team. This commercially minded organization produce market-specific publications, both printed and digital, which are distributed across the UK, Europe and worldwide- it is due to market demands that they need more super stars on board!

The Duties of a Sales Consultant:

• The role of Sales consultant is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident and money driven with excellent communication skills
• The position has elements of lead generation (though some will be generated for you), business development (warm and cold), and account management, all in all making it extremely varied and exciting - no two days are the same
• It involves liaising with the most senior decision makers in blue chip companies throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and the Arab States. You must be confident in your approach when speaking to clientele at all levels
• You will build rapport with these potential clients, initiating interest and then continuing to build the relationship and come to commercially beneficial agreements for both parties
• It is solely a phone based sales role due its international and fast-paced nature
• By making revenue for the company, you in turn make commission for your own pocket- simple!

Essential Skills:

• To be considered for the role of Sales Consultant, you must have business-to-business sales experience. It does not need to be within publishing/advertising specifically, although this would of course be beneficial.
• You are a self-motivator who enjoys working to targets
• You are confident with excellent communication skills, enabling you to feel comfortable when liaising with clientele at all levels

In return for your hard work:

• As a Sales Consultant, you will be rewarded with a completive basic salary of £18k+ (for publishing/advertising experience this is highly negotiable) and uncapped commission which will bring your total earnings to £26-30k+ as a minimum.
