Job Description:

- Client performance – urgency and pro-activity in defending and growing SEO and Content marketing performance while leading and managing 3 large SEO and Content planning accounts

- Strategy – what new layers of value can you bring to the client each quarter/year that tie in to their strategic objectives?

- Strategic direction of the account – not just specifying tactics (e.g. linkbait or duplicate content) but highlighting the role of SEO and content as part of their marketing activity – considering consumers, their brand and potentially the wider political, economic, social, technological and legal environment that the business operates within. What are quick wins and longer-term strategies for the client? Where should they invest their budget and why? What is the story around the investment?

- Quality control and client servicing - You are ultimately accountable for client feedback. Ensuring all prioritized client and internal requests done on time, to the quality expected, and that the OP team maintains and builds impeccable levels of trust and relationships. Client feedback is always good to excellent.

- Commercial management – accountability for billings, client forecasting, spend, appropriate (ROI-focused) defensible and sustainable growth of fees, profitably operating account to expectations.

- Development and progression of your account team and direct reports – mentoring them in organic performance, setting expectations, resource management, quality control and feedback before things go to the client, stretching people's development against the Talent Benchmarking process. Part of the measurement of your success as a senior manager is on your capability to develop your team.

What We're Looking For:

This is quite a tricky fill for the agency as they're looking for someone who effectively has the role of a media planner, SEO Strategist and content marketing expert!! You will have the knowledge to be able to run 2 large SEO accounts, which are quite technical and demanding, have the strategic foresight to be able to spot upcoming content marketing opportunities for your client AND as well as all this… you will be able to build great relationships with content partnerships – not an easy task!
