Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity team are dedicated to achieving our aims and objectives of funding Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care to all in our community.

The Charity has the privilege of supporting the people of our community by funding the provision of Specialist Palliative and End of life care provided by the Hospice doctors, nurses and related health professionals. Our care is provided both in the Hospice and in patient’s homes.
The Charity has a wonderful heritage going back to 1989 and is well respected by supporters, donors, volunteers and local business. It is this excellent reputation within our community that allows us to continue to be successful in meeting our financial targets and commitments.
As a charity we work hard to ensure that the donations we receive are used directly to support patients and their families, always striving to keep overhead costs to a minimum.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate our values and make a considerable contribution to our continued and sustainable success.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Fundraising, £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
This role is a Senior Management Team position within the organisation, reporting to the CEO. You will have several years’ experience of working at a strategic level within the Charity sector, being analytical and able to identify and respond to challenges in the fundraising environment. You will have demonstrable experience in providing strategic leadership, team management and coordination for all types of fundraising activities for charity. You will be skilled in identifying and developing diverse sustainable fundraising income streams to maximise income generation.
You will need to be creative, resourceful and outgoing with a good understanding of different stakeholder groups and how to motivate them. You will be a team player with excellent people management and coaching skills, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations in order to maximise donor income and raise the profile of the Charity.
