Experienced Internal/ Channel Sales Professional - Working day 2pm to 9pm for US market

Our client, a fast growing (Irish Deloitte Technology Fast50) technology brand, with an extensive blue chip client base, is now seeking an experienced sales professional to sell two products from their online software portfolio into the US market. Within your role, you will have responsibility for identifying, negotiating with and closing deals with targeted businesses across the US region. Some of the leads will be provided, but the role also requires self-lead generation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you must be confident, intelligent, and experienced with the ability to negotiate at board level. You will also be a very driven self-starter; able to identify and progress a sales lead right through the sales cycle.

The role will require a working day starting at 2pm and finishing at 9pm to provide optimum working time with the US market.

The role

  • Identify potential clients to sell the software system to, and take the process through from initial contact to closing the deal and developing the client.
  • Calling and developing leads provided by the marketing department.
  • Self-generation of leads in the US going for direct sales.
  • Working alongside the head of marketing to agree on Geographical locations to contact potential businesses directly to generate sales.
  • Working with the marketing team to develop marketing activities to promote the client’s product in the US market and develop sales leads.
  • You will deliver results by hitting realistic targets.
  • Working alongside US Partners who have identified leads for you, engaging in a three-way conversation online with the US partner and the potential client to demonstrate the software and close the deal.

The person

Reporting directly to the CEO, you must be confident, intelligent, and experienced with the ability to negotiate at board level. You will also be a very driven self-starter; able to identify and progress a sales lead right through the sales cycle.

  • Gravitas - Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels, able to gain respect, trust and confidence of senior management, partners and clients.
  • Relationship builder and absolute 'can-do’ attitude.
  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • You must be a self-starter motivated by results.

Experience required

  • 2 - 3 years’ relevant sales experience.
  • Ideally some experience in sales of software.
  • BA in Business, Marketing, or similar is an advantage.
  • Strong telephone skills - ability to create rapport and develop relationships without meeting the client.

Location

The company has just appointed a new Head of Marketing, and is in the midst of sourcing a new office in the UK that the marketing team will operate from, it is thought the location of the office may be in the Chester/Warrington area.

The salary

Year 1 - £30,000 basic with £36,000 OTE

Year 2 - same basic with £42,000 OTE

Year 3 - same basic with £50,000 OTE
