International Account Manager - The Company

My client is a leading global media and communications agency with one of the best reputations in the business. They work with a host of big brands and top tier clients ensuring they have the best service out there. They have a fantastic opportunity to work on one of their public sector clients (one of the largest and most prestigious accounts in the country) and this role represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for an ambitious individual with a digital media buying background

They have created a 50-strong team of Implementational Planners and Buyers that work on this account. This is a bespoke team housed within the agency within the Media Buying and Investment hub of the network.

This International Team manages all Planning and Buying on behalf of the client and it's subsidiaries. The team is integral to the development of successful global campaigns to promote the UK as a world leader across tourism, business and education. We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager that will help Plan and Buy International campaigns mainly across digital. You will report directly to the Account Director and have one direct report.

International Account Manager - Responsibilities

Campaign Management
Day to day management of assigned accounts
Develop media strategies to meet the clients' goals
Supervise and ensure the seamless execution of Digital plans from end to end
Ensure you and your team deliver forward thinking media plans
Develop a deep understanding of the clients' business, market, products and audiences to add value to strategic conversations with clients and internal teams
Build and maintain excellent relationships with day to day client teams. Act as the primary contact for those teams ensuring good communications at all times
Build a strong relationship with the clients' external partners, such as their creative agency, ensuring joined up campaign delivery
Develop strong and regular communications between the internal and external stakeholders such as media owners
Support Account Director in the development of junior team members
Supervise and manage junior media team members
Coach team members reporting into them and encourage them to develop their potential

International Account Manager - Key Skills

Experience with ad-serving technologies/campaign trafficking (Google Stack/Google Analytics)
Knowledge of online planning / research tools
Strong negotiation skills and media owner relationships
Knowledge of all digital channels including display, video, mobile and social buying
Experience managing people
Experience in travel marketing bonus but not necessary
Prior experience in managing partnerships is a plus.
Offline media experience and/or market coordination desirable
Prior experience in social/biddable buying a plus
