Business Development/Telephone Sales Consultant (Hospitality)

Location – Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Salary – £ 25,000 + uncapped OTE(28K) + Excellent Benefits

My client is an innovative and entrepreneurial and rapidly-growing group of companies who are proud of their unique approach to business and one of their most recent accolades includes featuring highly in The Sunday Times 100 Companies to work for in the UK. Due to continued growth and expansion they are seeking to attract an experienced and driven telephone Sales Professional to join the group based in Kent.

As a Business Development Consultant, your role will be to assist the Sales Executives in selling the venues and services that are part of the Group, including a luxury 4 Star Hotel, a prestigious Country Estate, and 1000-acre Country Park. You will be the first point of contact for inbound prospect calls, and be responsible for outbound calls, converting warm leads and making cold calls from a list of prospects you have either been given or have generated yourself.

You will be generating appointments from these calls for the Sales Executives and actively selling the businesses over the phone.

 You need to be driven, ambitious and hungry to convert warm leads and cold calls into potential sales. Equally, you'll be enthusiastic about making cold calls to create leads of your own. This is an exciting role for a candidate looking to develop a career in hospitality sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working from our office in Tunbridge Wells, the successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of lead generation, business development and sales tasks, in addition to providing the very highest level of customer service.
  • You'll make outbound calls, converting warm leads and making cold calls from a list of prospects you have either been given or have generated yourself.
  • You'll be dealing with individuals and small businesses, advising them on our services and gaining their interest to then pass over to the sales team
  • Above all, you'll be someone who consistently delivers against the target they've been set, taking responsibility for your own performance and for motivating the people around you.
