About the Client:

My client is one of the most prestigious and respected private hospitals in London, specialising in complex, cancer, cardiac and neuroscience, care for both adults and children.
The 9 bed Paediatric ICU is split over two floors. The department deals with general surgery, cardiac surgery, neurology surgery, oncology patients and other emergency patients that require critical care.

About the Role:

The role of PICU-Senior Staff Nurse see you based in PICU providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients and their relatives.

You will use your clinical knowledge and experience in order to set out standards of care for the paediatric service and develop various care programmes.

You will be required to carry out various administrative tasks in your role as PICU-Senior Staff Nurse including appointment bookings, care planning, record updates and ensuring all diagnostic and tests and pathology appointments are booked.

The PICU-Senior Staff Nurse role will see you mentoring and training junior staff

About the Individual:

In order to be successful in your application to the role of PICU-Senior Staff Nurse you will need to be registered with the NMC with a valid Paediatric Nursing qualification.

You will need in depth PICU experience with evidence of leadership and ongoing professional development.
