Internal Sales Executive

Minworth

£18,000 - £22,000 plus performance related bonus

Do you really enjoy being on the phone and engaging with customers but don’t necessarily enjoy a high volume, target driven environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building long term relationships but still enjoys challenge.

My client is an established UK Manufacturer based in Minworth. They have 30 years’ worth of experience and have been suppliers within their trade since 1987.

You will not be working in a target driven environment, this is a more consultancy based.

Key responsibilities:

- To effectively answer incoming telephone calls and deal with sales enquires and provide quotations.

- Create genuine rapport with customers and gain a full understanding of their needs in order to provide relevant and exceptional customer services and generate sales enquiries.

- Maintain an excellent customer focus, taking ownership and responsibility for the accuracy and quality of information provided and work processed.

- Enter and use system information to upsell all sales orders processed

- Promote the company sales strategies to existing customers to generate further business with already spending companies – these could be product or market lead strategies

- Proactively target and contact new or dormant customers with the aim to develop new business

Knowledge/skills/experience:

- A proven track record in a Sales support and or telesales environment desirable

- Ability to identify sales opportunities

- Experience of delivering to targets

- Excellent team working skills

- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated with a proactive approach

- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

- Good organisational skills, including diary management and forward planning

- Ability to communicate sales concepts/technical terms to all audiences

- Computer literature – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Experience of using CRM database beneficial - Experience of working in a busy environment

Hours

Mon-Thursday 9am - 5:30pm and Fri 9am - 5:00pm
