Children’s Home Manager - Stafford - Permanent

An interesting and challenging opportunity awaits a genuine, caring manager with experience in residential care for children. You will have a minimum of Level 4 in Care & Management (Level 5 preferred, or keenness to work towards this) and a flexible attitude, with a previous background in residential children’s services. You will have positive, considerate and caring attitude toward colleagues and charges and you will understand the need to build genuine and lasting relationships with colleagues and residents alike.

The role will be based in a small two-bed service in the Stafford area and will be supported by a team consisting of 3 RSWs and 3 Senior RSW’s when the home is at full occupancy. The role will be contracted to 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri but there is considerable flexibility in arranging your own rota and managing your time effectively and to the benefit of the home and the staff.

All candidates must be willing to submit to a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and be able to provide a minimum of two recent references.
