They are now in a position to grow their business and this expansion has resulted in an appointment for a Professional Relationship Manager or Business Development Manager to develop a referral network through Optometrists, GP's and potential private enterprises in London and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the territory to achieve the defined sales and market share objectives and for identifying business opportunities for their optical service offering into high street Optical outlets, GP surgeries and private businesses throughout the area.
The role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for the clinic working closely with Optometrists in the region to build new and strengthen existing relationships and in doing so, increase the level of enquiries and referrals for both refractive and general eye conditions
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in the ophthalmic industry either from a technical selling background or from within a professional relationship management role within optics. In addition you will have a successful track record of achievement and management and be able to demonstrate continued client relationship management. As such the role requires in depth business and marketing experience and the ability to develop sales strategy and implementation.
