Multi Skilled Engineer - Hereford- Permanent - £31,000 - £36,000

I am recruiting in partnership with Heineken who are looking to recruit a Day Technician for their manufacturing facility in Hereford.

HEINEKEN are proud to be the UK's leading cider, beer and pub business. With over 2,000 colleagues employed across the UK, they offer fantastic opportunities for people with talent and drive. From brewing to sales and marketing, from logistics to finance, IT and HR - there's much more to their business than you might imagine. Their unrivalled portfolio of brands includes Foster's, Strongbow, John Smith's, Bulmers, Desperados and of course the world-renowned Heineken®. And, with 1200 pubs, they're one of the UK's leading leased pub businesses. From the traditional Strongbow and Bulmers to the bold new flavours of Old Mout, Herefordshire is the heart of their cider business. Their mill operation and cider plant are supplied by 10,000 acres of orchards, and they use around 30% of all the apples grown in the UK to make their ciders. They have a rich history in cider making and an exciting future ahead. A recent £50 million upgrade has given them more flexibility than ever before to create new styles and flavours of cider.

As a day technician you will be involved in planned & preventative maintenance across a wide range of process machinery in addition to reactive breakdown maintenance, fault diagnosis and plant improvements. You will assist in RCA (Root-cause analysis), whilst supporting and mentoring first line operators with a focus on first line maintenance. Your can-do attitude and enthusiasm will be warmly welcomed and your problem solving skills will be put to good use. They can offer you the opportunity to work on State of the Art equipment, along with having pride in your work as you can tell your friends and family that you've made the brands they enjoy during your social occasions - and yes, you will get a slab of their delicious products each month, it's only fair as you may just have a played a big part in making them!

You will work across predominately day based shifts with some 12hours and weekend shifts required as part of a 4 week pattern. Along with a competitive salary and bonus opportunity, you will have 30+ days holidays together with a fantastic pension plan.
