Do you have a passion for working with young children who have Special Educational Needs? Engage Education are currently working with a number of special schools and mainstream schools who are in need of experienced EBD teachers to work with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Children with EBD may suffer from conditions such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Individually or a in combination these can cause anxiety, stress, emotional issues and will result in disruptive behaviour.

Job Description:

  • EBD Teacher.

  • South West London Boroughs.

  • April/September 2016 start.

  • £120-£200 Per Day.

  • Short/ Long Term Contracts.

  • Full Time/ Part Time.

  • Mainstream Primary/Secondary (SEN Department) and SEN Schools.


  • Must hold QTS.

  • Knowledge and skills evident in Special Educational Needs.

  • Experience working in a SEN schools or a SEN department within a mainstream school.

  • Clear communication skills and an assertive approach.

  • Strong behaviour management skills.

  • Able to adapt to the general and specific needs of your pupils.
