New Business Account Executive, Ipswich, up to £40,000
A respected insurance brokerage in the Ipswich area is seeking an New Business Account Executive to help grow their Commercial Book.
If you are a commercial broking professional with an interest in new business and client management then this will be a great opportunity for you. Candidates will only be considered if they have a proven track record of new business or are currently in control of a commercial portfolio currently.
To grow and maintain a book of commercial business in line with business objectives
To provide excellent service to client’s dealing with new business enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensuring that clients are treated fairly and provided with appropriate insurance cover at competitive premiums
Ensuring that accounts are settled promptly and premiums are paid within 30 days of invoice
Liaise with Claims Dept. as required to verify loss experience at each renewal
Assist Claims Dept. in respect of cover operative and other technical matters
Good Commercial awareness of the Insurance market and a strong technical understanding of commercial insurance risks, particularly Commercial Combined policies
Understanding of the needs of Insurers to assess the risks presented
Excellent sales skills and able to develop and maintain long term working relationships with clients
Excellent communication skills and able to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, insurers and service providers
