My client is a long established Bolton-based firm with a first class reputation and a successful and diverse client base ranging from small sole-traders to £multi-million turnover manufacturing and service businesses. The firm offers a full service range covering accounts, audit, tax, bookkeeping and payroll.

Due to client growth, the firm has identified the need for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join the firm and to support the existing client portfolio across accounts preparation, annual statutory accounts production, and management accounting.

The firm as a very experienced and supportive team and an excellent, loyal client base.

The successful candidate will be:-

- A practice professional with a minimum of 4-5 years within a firm of chartered accountants
- Confident and capable of organising and managing your own workload
- Capable of the efficient and accurate production of statutory accounts from both client systems and incomplete records
- Production of draft tax computations
- Providing clients with management accounting and ad hoc support
- A strong and positive communicator who is proven and comfortable with client interaction
- Solid IT skills - experience of Sage and / or Xero would be an advantage and strong excel skills are a must
- Good attention to detail
- Study support would be considered for the successful candidate but we would also welcome applications from candidates who are Qualified or 'Qualified by Experience'
