We are a specialist Social Care Consultancy based in Lewisham, South East London and due to expansion, we have a permanent position in our team for a Quality Assurance Team Leader.

As a local, independent Social Care Consultancy specialising in the Childcare, Social Care & Foster Care sectors. Our current team is approximately 15 strong and we are looking to recruit someone who wants to join an independent consultancy and work directly with clients.

The position involves managing a team of administrators, social workers, and practitioners. You will be required to quality assure Social Care Assessments which will include Form F / Special Guardianship / Connected Persons / PAMS Assessments which will require a high level of analysis to determine that the assessment of prospective foster carers has been thorough with any of your recommendations directed back to the assessing social worker.

An excellent telephone manner and high level of verbal communication will be required. A high level of accuracy combined with intermediate knowledge of MS Word & Excel will be required in this role. A degree within Social Care will be required as well as being registered with the HCPC.

This is a unique role, that will allow the right applicant with a passion for quality assurance, social care and business administration to gain a thorough insight into the processes involved in becoming an approved foster/connected/special guardian carer for a local authority. Working within a team of administrators, practitioners and social workers (qualified/student), you will be surrounded by like minded individuals with a passion for social care.

This position is a full time post (40hrs per week) and the hours will be on a shift basis between 8.00 am - 6.00 pm, unfortunately due to the nature of the business these hours are not flexible. This position is for an immediate start.
