Community Nurse (RSCN) Paediatrics - Hampshire - Permanent - Full-time - £26,000 - £32,000

Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Community Nurse (RSCN) Paediatrics working for our client based in Hampshire on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the a NMC Registered Nurse - Child (RSCN / RNC) and have significant post-registration experience.
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; You will have acute hospital experience and an interest in Palliative Care or experience within a hospice or end of life setting. You will also need to hold a UK driving licence and own a car to be considered for this position.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; Palliative care or Hospice experience.

Our client is a well known charitable organisation, who provide palliative care to patients from childhood to young adulthood in both a hospice setting, but also a community setting.

This position is working as a Community Nurse that provides community and ward nursing care within a hospice environment. You will be providing highly skilled nursing care to patients and support to their families. The hospice provides palliative nursing care to paediatric patients and to adults of up to 35 years old and includes a new long-term ventilated unit. The community nursing aspect of this role will be providing support and care to patients and their families in their home setting.

The position will involve shift working including full rotational work. We can consider part-time nurses, but you will need to work as part of the team rota

This is a Full-time Permanent position working 37.5 hours per week working in Hampshire.

The salary for this position is between £26,000 and £32,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is benefits that include the option to continue to pay into an existing NHS pension or a private pension, life assurance, 28 days annual leave per annum and free meals when working.
