Basic salary £18,000 + commission.
Harrison Sands are now recruiting for a Manchester based finance specialist recruitment agency who are looking to hire a recent graduate to train with the company and develop their careers as a Recruitment Consultant. We are open to graduates finishing their studies in 2018 and looking to start work after graduation.
The company: Our client are a boutique agency who recruit over three sites across northern england supplying accountancy practices and private sector clients with permanent and temporary accountancy, finance and payroll staff. Offering a basic salary of £18,000 plus commission paid monthly this company also offer a number of other staff rewards including holidays and team events and trips as a thank you for the hard work and success of their consultants.
Person specification: This role is specifically open to recent graduates as a trainee position. It is a permanent role and will include regular training and development from the Director as well as Head Office training and work shadowing the Manchester consultancy team, building you up to have the ability to operate as a Recruitment Consultant at the end of your training period. We are looking for two graduates, second class honours or above with a desire to develop a long term career within an industry offering great earning potential and career development. We are open to your degree background but require applicants who have developed through their University life great communication skills, the ability to speak confidently with those at senior level, problem solving and research skills and a drive to succeed. The role of a Recruitment Consultant is client centric so will involve a good deal of communication both over the phone and in face to face meetings, with the expectation that you will be able to negotiate with and sell to clients. Although it isn't essential any experience of sales or telephone based work as part of a University placement or a part time role will be positively considered as will experience of managing or creating your own earning streams while studying (e.g. own business/ blog etc).
All applicants must be able to commute to Manchester (office is in walking distance from public transport links) and work Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.
