We are looking for an additional person to join our clients current team of Maintenance Services Technicians within their facilities department. You will have served a recognised apprenticeship in either an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field, or have equivalent experience and training, preferably with previous experience of working as part of a maintenance team.

The Maintenance Team provides planned preventative maintenances and breakdown repair services to support a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment. Continued operation of the electrical and mechanical installation is pivotal to the continued operation of the Institutes.

Salary on appointment will be within the range £23,900 to £26,600 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. There is the opportunity to earn overtime (following completion of probationary period), and an additional on-call allowance of 10% of basic salary after 12 months (plus call-out payments).

This post is for an 18 month contract.

Qualifications Required
Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and training
Post qualification experience
Experience working as part of a electrical technicians, mechanical technicians and craft persons.
Good working knowledge of legislative requirements relating to electrical services (17th edition IEE wiring regulations)
Experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and or mechanical plant and equipment in a production enviroment
