Due to continued growth this fast expanding company are looking for an ambitious and driven individual with a proven track record working across an industrial business in a commercially focused and strategically impacting role.

The role will be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to ensure that an organisation's management make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

The role will be to maintain financial policies and management information systems, as well as provide a high quality support service by liaising with management colleagues on most aspects of finance. The role combines accounting skills with business management skills.

This management accountant's role is to look to the future. To analyse the performance of the business and advise on how to pre-empt problems, adapt to changing circumstances and add value. This is done by managing and reducing operational and production costs and assisting in the implementation of more effective strategies

You will work in the organisations key growth area and work closely with the Financial Director whilst being responsible for:
?Extensive analysis of variances of Standard Costs including Labour & Overhead recoveries
?Margin analysis by customer and product range, with extensive supporting information
?Inventory valuations including provisions, goods in transit and validation of stock counts
?Management of site based saving projects
?Costing products and ensuring the integrity of bills of materials
?Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting documentation for analytical review by FD
?Control and verification of Balance sheet accounts
?Management of capital expenditure, fixed assets and investment appraisal
?Completion of statistical returns to Government bodies
?Assist the FD in preparation of annual budgets and short, medium & long term forecasts
?Management & support to the finance team, company and group members
?Project based finance support for the management and core teams

Ideally you will be ACCA / CIMA qualification and be career driven - however a strong QBE will be considered. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment have the ability to help drive this growing finance team forward.
