An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager, to join a new SME team, at one of the UK’s leading energy procurement specialists. As SME Account Manager, you will provide advice on energy markets, negotiate client contracts, and ensure that those contracts are in the best interest of the clients. Key responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on the energy markets
  • Negotiate with clients regarding their energy supply contracts
  • Ensure the contracts are negotiated within the client’s best interests
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring all enquiries are resolved
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the industry, its regulations, and any market changes
  • Utilise customer service experience by uncovering any potential business enquiries
  • Ensure all records and databases are up-to-date
  • Provide any market intelligence to line manager

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years’ SME Account Management experience within B2B
  • Good knowledge of the energy industry (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track record of target achievement
  • Proven telesales skills within B2B environment
  • Experience using Database/CRM systems
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Working hours 9-5 (35 hours per week)
