Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer on behalf of a client based in the Hull area.

The ideal candidate will be highly professional and motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities of the Finance Officer will include:

- Preparation of weekly payroll
- Responsible for sales ledger/credit control
- Purchase ledger - including checking payment runs
- Managing petty cash
- Completing statement reconciliations
- Preparing ad hoc reports
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Assisting the Financial Controller when required
- Liaising with auditors

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

- At least 2 years' experience working within an accounting environment (including payroll)
- IT literate including strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and v look ups)
