Sales & Events Bookings Manager - Restaurants

Central London


My client has been delivering outstanding results for their clients for over 5 years now - and they are looking for people who will be able to drive their existing client accounts to new heights straight away.

The Sales & Events Bookings Manager role would be overseeing all the sales, bookings & events sales packages for 13 restaurants in central London, some with separate events spaces. You will be involved with show-rounds and familiarisations trips, presenting to Corporate clients and deal with 3rd party bookings events agencies. Previous experience in a similar position for a hospitality company is absolutely essential, as Is dealing with 3rd party clients.

What is it?

  • Secure sales partnerships & create corporate credit accounts with local businesses, attractions & tourist boards
  • Liaise closely with the Central Sales Team to strengthen relationships for the brand, with existing 3rd party clients
  • Figure out ways of raising the profile of struggling sites
  • Work hand in hand with the client’s Openings Teams on refurbishments & new openings to secure corporate & consumer business.
  • Help to incorporate a sales culture into the brand across all departments.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop bespoke menus for new clients and partnerships.
  • Book regular meetings, lunches and dinners with 3rd party agents, corporate contacts and tourist boards/attractions on the same day as an area meeting in order to fully utilise time spent away from the office.
  • Research, activate and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Provide weekly reports on progress and sales strategy for the brand to directors
  • Create and nurture relationships with clients, consumers and agents
  • You will be selling Private Hire, Group Menus, Christmas, and other seasonal events.
  • Deal with demanding clients in a professional manner, anticipate complaints and find last minute solutions.

Who Are You?

  • Passion for customer service & sales (proactive).
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Office and PowerPoint & able to present confidently
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible regarding hours, networking events are part of the job
  • Confident with P&L
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (phone, in person, email).
  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Team player, positive, dynamic, bright, energetic and outgoing personality.
