Oliver James Associates is working with a large commercial insurer that is looking to add to their life & health team. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of life / health claims and ensuring the best level of customer excellence.

Job Role:

  • Manage a caseload of life / health claims files within your designated authority limit, from initial review through to conclusion
  • Work closely with the central intelligence team to investigate claims and decide on appropriate course of action to conclude them
  • Work closely with other departments including technical claims and underwriting
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service
  • Work closely to claims regulatory guidelines including TCF

Skills / Experience Required:

  • 1+ year's contact centre experience, in a customer service based role (preferably claims)
  • Track record of providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, third parties and legal professionals
  • Keen interest in the healthcare insurance market
  • Degree educated preferred but not essential
  • A Level qualifications essential
