Our client, a major name in the provision of specialist retirement income advice, is seeking an office based experienced Adviser to service an established client base by telephone.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES To maximise sales and revenue of specialist retirement or other relevant products to customers through a comprehensive customer focused service delivery. To meet and exceed quality and sales targets, based primarily on qualified leads provided by the company plus such self-generated appointments as can be developed, by providing appropriate, understandable and compliant advice, building lifetime relationships with customers. Where required, to act as an FCA approved person (Controlled function category CF30), taking responsibility for advising on product areas and giving advice to customers in connection with regulated business lives operated by the company. To actively promote the brand and value set and to move the company toward its vision 'to be the leading retirement brand, known and trusted for enriching customers' lives."

To comply with and adhere to the FCA Statement of Principles and the Just Retirement Code of Practice for Approved Persons To support the principles of Treating Customers Fairly understanding and responding effectively to ever changing needs of all customers. To deliver sales objectives as defined and agreed with the Regional Manager To secure business in accordance with sales delivery and advice processes to ensure that T&C and compliance requirements are met To achieve required KPI's To maintain professional development, technical knowledge and presentation skills to ensure that advice given is compliant, informative, factual and relevant. To establish and maintain effective working relationships with support staff, sales teams and employees in the wider business To undertake all aspects of administration associated with the role, reporting and record keeping in a timely manner and to company quality standards Proactively ensure that skills and knowledge levels are maintained to ensure on-going competence Be available to assist in the development and delivery of enhanced services or products as required from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS Currently holding CAS status and SPS. Diploma in Financial Planning or Diploma in Regulated Financial planning or equivalents.

Desired- CII - G60, K10, K20 , JO5 or their equivalent as a part of Level 4 qualifications.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE The individual will be driven and highly motivated with a desire to offer the highest levels of service and solutions to their clients. Will have a flexible, adaptable attitude - open to new ways of working Will have an empathetic style, allowing the individual to build strong customer relationships throughout the potentially complex/emotive INA sales process Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent planning, problem solving, prioritisation and organisation skills Self-motivated with excellent relationship management skills EXPERIENCE Substantial experience in a Financial Services sales environment, with a proven track record of achieving results in face to face sales. Record of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
