Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a vibrant business in Burnley who are seeking a Credit Controller to join their Credit Control Team.

This opportunity may suit an individual with existing Credit Control experience however if you have a dazzling smile, you are process driven with an excellent eye for detail, fear not! We are happy to entertain applications from lesser experienced recent University Graduates or similarly qualified College leavers who have a genuine interest in forging a career within the field of all thinks finance related... With a difference!

Whilst the business is a leader within its field, boasting five offices nationally with plans afoot to open a sixth in the UK and its first overseas in the coming months, uniquely the Credit Control Team in Burnley service all of its five offices nationally. Due to growth the addition of a new member will support the team in respect of streamlining processes, checking applications, undertaking relevant due diligence and making rational decisions on the applications to approve or decline

Whether you are dealing with the solicitors regarding debts, instructing judgements, charge orders or bailiff's, you will need a mature head and some big shoulders (but a charm to match!). Effective communication and an aptitude for people management is vital. Customers will often be apologetic, sad, happy, friendly (or not so!) and for this reason, you will need to be ready and willing to offer unbiased responses to a diverse range of customers.

Working with customers on their credit risk exposure will also form an element of the role whilst combining additional ad hoc duties including, managing accounts and working with credit insurance brokers and credit rating agencies.

The team is a tight unit who combine a strong work ethic alongside office humour therefore an individual who is easy going, able to forge close relations with clients and colleagues respectively is vital to the overall success.

Requirements:
