Clinical Team Leader - RMN £40k

Salary: £40,000
Hours: 37.5 Full time (days or nights available)

We are currently selecting for a RMN (registered mental health nurse) to be a Team Leader on the eating disorder unit some previous experience would help however it is not essential; ideally to come from that background or to have previous experience with CAMHS.

They specialise in providing intensive and bespoke, individualised treatment plans, making sure the care and quality is to the best standards. The hospital is a 70 bedded unit and it comprises a general adolescent unit, two psychiatric intensive care units and an eating disorder unit caring for people aged 12-18. Just located off M4 in Slough, with easy access to public transport. The hospital surroundings have beautiful well maintained gardens with a scenery that both patients and staff can enjoy.

Your responsibilities for the role are as follows:

* Supervise and lead in service user care, implementing and evaluating care plans driving forward care delivery
* Taking leadership and implementing changes
* Identifying care needs, liaising with family members
* Promoting high standards of nursing care
* Motivating staff and ensuring clear communication within the service
* Encouraging independent living promoting personal choice
* Ensuring team members are regularly trained and up skilled to ensure changing needs within the service are met

Applicants for the position should be:

* RMN qualified with active NMC pin
* Some Supervisory / management experience
* Strong knowledge of the mental health act
* Effective and excellent communication skills
