A engineering company based on the outskirts of North Yorkshire are looking at expansion due to winning a number of new contracts. The organisation is a highly professional and dynamic business who are looking at investment and growth.
Your new role
The new opportunity will be to provide maternity cover within the finance team and providing accounts support to all levels of staff within the business.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role will be assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, inputting journals, accruals and prepayments and working closely with the accountant in ensuring balance sheet control and reconciliations are adhered to.
The role will require you to input weekly costs and figures, issuing purchase order reports and chasing outstanding debt.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong communication skills as your be required to maintain communication channels through the business, have the ability to work on own initiatives as well as being part of a strong team.
The client is looking for someone who is AAT qualified actively studying or holds a finance degree, have experience of providing financial performance analysis and ideally have SAP experience.
