Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged to recruit a Supply Chain Controller for a leading FMCG business. This role will require working one weekend in every three. Standard working hours 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.

The Supply Chain controller is responsible for effective supply chain process control through buying support, customer management and inventory control. The role will work closely with the buying, commercial, QC and operations teams to ensure customer requirements and operational targets are met & exceeded.

Key accountabilities :

Inventory Management:
 Raise production plans and program figures in line with forecast and availability of stock.
 Management of the dwell time of stock to ensure it is used in the most effective order.
 Check production orders have been accurately input and the correct stock allocated to the plans, making adjustments where necessary and maintaining the integrity of SAP.
 Maintain commercial planning tool with forecast, arrivals and opening stock information.

Buying Support:
 Compiles and coordinates weekly programmes, whilst making daily adjustments to suit the needs of the business, based on program vs actual.
 Collating all supplier paperwork including packing list, load plans, invoices and claims. Relaying any quality claim information to suppliers.
 Purchase order creation within SAP with high accuracy levels in data entry. Ensuring prices, product references, freight costs and products are correct.

 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office programs including Excel, Power Point and MS Word. The ability to construct professional presentations, MS Word documents and Excel Spreadsheets.
