Job Role: Registered Community & District Nurses
Location: Colchester & Clacton - on Sea
Hours: Full-time and Part-Time
Salary: Up to 28,462 pa pro rata
About the role:
Athona Recruitment are excited to currently be working with one of the UK's leading providers of care in the community, who currently require Registered Nurses to cover the Colchester Area.
We are looking for fully qualified general nurses (RGNs) who have post qualification experience in adult nursing within a community setting. Both areas are quite rural and cover a wide area of surrounding villages so a clean driving licence and a car is essential for this role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Private Sector, which in turn could enhance future career progression.
Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to-
-Non-oral medication administration
-Phlebotomy for housebound patients
-General Documentation Skills
-Basic Assessment Skills for pressure damage prevention, activities of daily living, mobility etc
You'll provide the very best levels of clinical care, you'll make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest standards, optimising the wellbeing of every client. You see every person in your care as an individual, and work closely with the wider team to create an environment that delivers skilled nursing care, clear communication, and respect and dignity for everyone.
Requirements for the Registered Nurse role
NMC PIN number
Experience working as a RGN
A strong knowledge of person-centered care.
You'll be committed to learning and developing further.
Knowledge of the current care practices laid down by the CQC.
A passion for delivering the very best standards to everyone in your care.
Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes
