Reporting to Director of FS Product Development you will lead the technology and business change required to deliver the Financial Services Development Roadmap and support wider group initiatives. As the Head of Development your duties will include:

- Being responsible for delivering technology and business change across Financial Services and to support change for any wider group initiatives.
- Being responsible for the production and presentation of business cases and benefits for initiatives/projects.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring all FS business requirements are clearly defined before progressing further through the change process.
- Acting as Business Lead for any change across Financial Services.
- Overall responsibility for the FS squads that will deliver the change, with direct line management responsibility for Product Owners for these squads.
- Being responsible for tracking the delivery of the change portfolio for FS, highlighting key risks and issues and proposing solutions.
- Champion innovation and embed a culture of test and learn from the team and working with the innovation team in IT and other stakeholders across the business to promote this culture.
- Overall responsibility for the configuration of FS systems where this lies outside IT and with business teams.
- Directly line managing and being responsible for building a high performing team.



To be a successful Head of Development you will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role, able to demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Leadership in the delivery of change programmes and incentives.
- Strong understanding of technology, specifically working under an agile framework.
- A good knowledge of Financial Services, in particular, relevant Fintech is highly desirable.
- Role holder requires strong commercial skills and a good understanding of finance.
- Strong analytical skills are desirable and the ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels is essential.


In return, you will receive a salary of £60,000 – £70,000 per annum plus many benefits
