Systems Manager. Our International Rail client have opened a brand new UK site and are looking for a Systems Manager to join them!

As a Systems Manager, your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Carry out route changes within the customer database.
- Fix any software issues for the customer using the UK skills set to assist if needed.
- Pursue any hardware warranty and support issues to a conclusion.
- Manage the support contract and PO process, ensuring PO’s are delivered before work is carried out.
- Organise and attend weekly meetings with the customers. These will be at least one face to face per month and weekly teleconference calls.
- Capture and analysis of OMS and journey logs to assist customer development and investigations.
- Participate in system integration activities such as FAT and UAT at customers’ premises.
- Manage the customers JIRA tickets, produce a periodic report and hold weekly support calls with UK team and Sydney to pursue any issues to a conclusion.
- Support customers use of DAS products.

Systems Manager, COMPETENCIES - Essential:

- Computer Science or Systems Engineering related degree or equivalent
- Experience with System Engineering and integrated software systems i.e. software and hardware.
- Windows Server administration
- Linux
- SQL Database administration
- Network (configuration, firewall…)
- Virtualisation (Azure)
- Scripting (windows, shell, R Scripts etc)
