We are searching for an experienced Software Developer who will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of leading open source technologies, developing plugins and integrations as well as building and maintaining innovative in-house solutions.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements, Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary.

Your Skills

Strong knowledge of PHP ( 3 Years + )
Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript ( 3 Years + )
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, SSO and environments
Comfortable with Linux operating system
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Familiarity with SQL/MariaDB databases and their declarative query languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

1-3 years experience developing PHP web applications
3 years working in a professional capacity
General understanding of LAMP stack
HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience
Relational databases (preferably MySQL)
Version control (preferably Git)
Understanding of responsive design and principals
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work flexibly both in a small team and independently

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in maintaining existing web applications and websites
Developing plugins and integrations
Supporting back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users
Responsible for debugging, testing, and resolving issues reported in a timely manner
Work as a team and independently to develop new features based on prototypes/mock-ups
Develop and test for cross-browser compatibility
Handle smaller projects independently, coordinating with other team members and third-parties as needed
