Your new company
A Top 25 UK Chartered Accountancy Firm based in Central London. They have a personal, partner-led service aimed at entrepreneurial small-medium enterprises, large corporates and high-net worth individuals. With clients across a range of industries, they aim to deliver a premium advisory service, maintaining their reputation of being efficient and cost-effective. On offer to clients are services including audit, corporate taxation, private client services, VAT, business recovery and forensic accounting, together with a range of sector groups offering specialist industry knowledge. They are now looking for a qualified Auditor to join the London team as a Supervisor.

Your new role
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients within the charities and not-for-profit client team. This will include managing the client relationship and ensuring that expectations are managed accordingly. The main duties of this role include: planning, supervising, and reviewing audits and accounts, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP and FRS102, assisting in generating new business and other ad hoc duties in line with the role. As you progress with the role, you will have the opportunity to assist with staff recruitment.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have a desire to work with charity and not-for-profit clients. You will have at least 2 years' post qualification experience within a practice environment and be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven audit experience with a wide range of clients
  • Proficient technical ability
  • Knowledge of charity specific accounting and audit issues
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • A proven ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
