Due to growth within the London Assurance Team, they are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to work with Public Sector clients.

Your new role
You'll work with clients at their sites, getting to the heart of how they work and the challenges they face. Making the most of your audit experience and client management skills, you'll help clients mitigate risks and work more effectively. You will take responsibility for managing a key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients. You will take the lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients with minimal partner input and you'll manage a number of audit teams and ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent) and have significant post qualified experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of audit clients. Experience of working on large audits in addition to dealing with complex technical matters is essential, as is previous experience of auditing charities, housing associations or education bodies. You will have strong people management skills, enabling you to support, coach and mentor more-junior colleagues. Finally you will have a passion for business development and a desire to be involved in developing a strategy for the team.
