Position is based in Halifax for an FE College

The FE College currently deliver a range of engineering subjects and are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join their team. If you are an experienced engineer and are looking at getting into education this position provides you with a great opportunity.

A fantastic opportunity for an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Lecturer to join a college that is growing in stature and numbers. The Motivate Centre is the central hub for Motor Vehicle and Engineering students giving the opportunity to work on real cars.

The college have 4500 learners and are rated Good by ofsted for FE and outstanding for their apprenticeship framework.

This role is responsible for the delivery of further education qualifications. You would be working primarily with level 2/3 learners, with scope to work at a higher level as you progress. If you specialise in the field of electrical engineering and are looking for a career/role in a fantastic college this position is for you.

The company have a new centre where high amounts of re invest is being put into the infrastructure of the company. They are always looking to add skilled workers to their department as they strive to provide great education to the new learners. They also have invested in their workforce by providing them free life insurance and a company pension plan.

The role will be based on a 37 hour working week from Monday- Friday. The role offers 47 days holiday. The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification of one of the disciplines above and must be willing to work towards an teaching qualification if not already achieved.
