We currently have 1 vacancy for an Aluminum saw operator within a small busy manufacturing company based in Washington, Tyne & Wear. This is a permanent, full time position subject to completing a satisfactory probationary period. You will be a part of the production and assembly of quality aluminum products through machining, tooling and joinery processes.
Skills and experience required for the role;
Able to understand drawings with various sections
Able to identify different profiles (training given)
Have previous experience using machinery but no necessary and training will be given
Excellent health and safety practices and knowledge
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Able to work to details and within given tolerances and measurements
Ability to follow instructions closely
Awareness of PPE requirements, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
Familiarity of modern manufacturing technique of, manufacture including Metal Technology, Senior Architectural, Technal, Exlabesa (training given)
Good understanding of drawings
Any applicant must have previous experience in the factory environment and in the aluminum industry; we would request that should the applicant not have this experience they need not apply.
Good track record for time keeping and attendance
Ability to work individually and part of a team
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7am - 4pm
Pay: Over min wage, depending on experience
Over time: Optional, not guaranteed
