A new part-time opportunity for a Purchase Ledger and Data input assistant has become available for a family run business in Stratford upon Avon. Offering flexible working hours, this role is initially offered on a 2-3 month basis however there may be potential for the role to become permanent due to the continued growth of the organisation. This company are extremely well established within the market place, providing a wide range of maintenance services.

The Role:

As Purchase Ledger and Data Assistant, the ideal candidate must have some experience with purchase ledger. You will be assisting the Financial controller and to be responsible for the purchase ledger system.

Key role responsibilities;

* Enter Purchase Orders onto Sage and file accordingly

* Ensure all Invoices are stamped, coded and entered onto the Sage System prior to authorisation.

* Ensure all delivery notes are attached to invoices where appropriate

* Reconcile all supplier statements, obtain copy invoices where necessary.

* Match up receipts to the Credit Card Statements, ensuring all are coded correctly and enter onto the Sage system.

* Process Expenses onto Sage.

* Process Supplier Payments onto Sage.

* Provide assistance to the Financial Controller as and when required.

* Responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Company Operating Procedures.

* Responsible for adhering to Company Policy and Procedures on Health and Safety.

* To behave positively, diplomatically and tactfully with clients’ personnel ensuring that the individuals impression of the Companies integrity, knowledge, respectability and proactive approach are maintained or heightened.

* The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

The essential experience for this role is that candidates must have:

* Experience of Purchase Ledger

* Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200 and MS Windows based software
* Administrative Skills
* Computer Skills
* Good Verbal communication skills
* A strong customer service focus
