Our client are the global market leader within Data Visualisation and Business Intelligence working across all sectors. They are looking for a proven Principal SE to build on the success within their Global Systems Integrators. The Systems Engineers are the key driver of adoption and opportunities at Global System Integrators (GSIs) and their customers. You will provide presales support for new opportunities at the GSI’s and their customers, aids in generating, discovering and validating new opportunities for sales and engages customers to drive adoption of Tableau’s products according to best practices.

Responsibilities
• Become a trusted partner in the adoption of our client within the Global System Integrators and their customers
• Evangelize and socialize our client’s solutions and successes with executives, business owners, technical sales, and implementers.
• Provide presales support for all sales activities including needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations and other general sales support
• Be an expert on all technical aspects of our client across their product portfolio.
• Solve technical problems, propose solution architectures and guide implementations toward best practices
• Develop and execute on adoption and sales plans specific to the account
• Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face and web meetings with prospects assisting and guiding them through the evaluation, selection and adoption process
• Drive all aspects of successful Proof of Concepts from requirements and design to training and delivery
• Communicate daily with sales staff regarding sales activities and strategies
• Deliver web-based demonstration and 1:1 sessions for GSIs, customers and prospects
• Provide onsite training and professional services for GSIs and customers as needed
• Provide proactive support to GSIs, customers and prospects. Monitor and engage is support cases as needed.
Experience
• Experience of working with Global GSI’s such as Deloitte, PWC other enterprise SI’s OR strong Data Visualisation / BI SE experience with the gravitas to work in such environments.
• Experienced. Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Sales Consulting, or Technical Account Management role.
• Strong Salesmanship / Commercial SE. You have a desire, even an obsession, to bring new customers into our client’s franchise and maximize revenue. Solution selling and other enterprise sales skills. You are a closer!
• Go-Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
