HEAD OF LEARNING AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TO £65K PRO-RATA

High profile Higher Education establishment in central London with a global reach and fantastic culture for staff and students alike are looking for an experienced Head of Learning and Organisational Development.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract and will sit within a first class HR team who are dedicated to ensure the workforce are motivated to be the best.

The role will be to manage a team of 3 within the L & D sector and will be in control of a generous budget.

Role Purpose:
• Develop a learning and OD strategy to build on thethat supports the School in building the capability, effectiveness and engagement of staff
• Develop an annual plan that supports the effective implementation of the strategy
• Design OD initiatives or programmes to meet organisational requirements
• Lead the Learning and Organisational Development Team to ensure smooth operational running of the department

Skills and Experience Required:
• Strong communication and influencing skills – can negotiate and collaborate effectively
• Manage internal relationships with staff at all levels
• Demonstrate a network of contacts and credibility
• Expert in the subject matter – legislation, tools and systems available, policies etc
• Implementation of business change solutions
• Financial management and commerciality
• Experience of leading and motivating a team
• Able to work with a range of key stakeholders
