We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Marketing Executive to join the team in our Watford office.

Europcar is a market leader and a global brand specialising in Vehicle Rental Solutions. Founded in 1949 in Paris, Europcar has continued to grow and now operates in 143 different countries across the globe.

Role objectives:

* To support the UK Ecommerce and Product Marketing Manager in the execution of the marketing strategy for major Products
* To achieve revenue and profit margin targets for the UK product portfolio
* To identify opportunities to enhance existing products and develop new products aligned to the wider UK business strategy

Product Marketing

* Implement marketing campaigns for key products, aligned to business objectives
* Brief agencies on campaign objectives including; business objectives, product proposition and positioning, target audience, creative requirements etc
* Oversee campaign performance, report internally including learnings
* Develop sales collateral and promotional materials to support the growth of major products on multiple channels

New Product Development

* Conduct market research as required; brief agencies and oversee research projects
* Compile market assessment and competitive analysis to help identify potential new product development opportunities
* Prepare data for Business Case Development
* Find innovative ways to quickly test products in the market to achieve ‘real world’ market testing

Internal Communication

* Manage internal communication with other Departments including including RCM, Legal and Operations to ensure product communications are accurate, compliant and implemented correctly
* ensure that all Work Instructions are up to date, accurate and understood
* develop training tools for Operations teams and Contact Centre
* ensure that Terms and Conditions for all Products are correct
* Liaise with UK Ecommerce Team over promotions and digital marketing placements of Products
* Liaise with the UK Ecommerce Team to ensure product definitions, features and benefits are accurate on digital channels

Product Performance Reporting

* Analyse major product performance reports; highlighting trends, raising performance issues and proposing solutions
* Prepare reports and presentations for regular and ad hoc meeting requirements

Desired candidate experience

* Degree educated
* Strong understanding of media channels and their role in delivering an effective marketing campaign
* Experience in product development and product launches
* Excellent project management, organisational and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Passionate, enthusiastic with ‘can-do’ attitude, pro-active and capable self-starter
* Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data and use it to improve performance
* Creative, innovative and energetic team worker who can ‘think outside the box’
* Ability to think creatively and communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to work in an international team & environment
* Skills to manage internal and external relationships
* Proficient use of Word/Excel/Powerpoint

The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record in Marketing and be able to demonstarte very good attention to detail. You will have a good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Powerpoint
