An excellent opportunity has arisen here at Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA) for a Principal Accountant. This role is based at the Authority Headquarters in Aylesbury where our vision is to make Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes the safest areas in England in which to live, work and travel.

Principal Accountant
12 months Fixed Term Contract
Full time – 37 hours
£42,160- £46,989 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Principal Accountant to lead a small team responsible for financial accounting, treasury management, maintaining and improving our finance system and processes, as well as accounts payable and receivable. The successful individual will be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with relevant experience and demonstrable success in these areas.
