Kingfisher IT Services (KITS) is a group function that sets the standards and ways of working for IT globally. Our vision is to deliver cost effective IT that realises the strategic goals of our business and supports their day to day needs.

Our 550-strong team operate from sites across Europe – Southampton, Yeovil, Paddington and Austin Friars (London) in the UK, Lille and Longpont in France, Spain, Romania, Poland and Russia.


·Daily operational management of supplier & vendor services

·Contributes to contractual weekly / monthly reporting – confirming SLA & KPI measures are met where applicable

·Ensures service Improvement plans add value and quality to the service offering

·Monitors application performance and provides recommendations for improvements

·Inputs into contract SLA reviews with vendor & suppliers

·Approves supplier SOW in line with supplier contract agreements

·Breach of operating agreements are fed into commercial teams and group applications manager

·Assures TCO (total cost of ownership) for services are documented and understood

·Optimise Application management processes, detailing inputs and outputs to other processes

·Ensures the decommissioning of legacy applications in line with major program deliverables

·Participation in defining application roadmaps including upgrades, replacement and retirement

·Delivery and maintenance of application portfolio toolsets

·Ensures ‘agreed sign off’ criteria for early life support (ELS) for new services are agreed with strategic supplier

Experience Requirements

·Experience in ITIL Service Lifecycle Management.

·Experience of application management

·Good knowledge and understanding of IT technology areas (within projects and operations)

·Experience of managing supplier /vendor relationships and communications with internal stakeholders

Financial acumen
