Purchase Ledger Clerk required for 2 month temporary position in Colchester Paying £10.00 to £11.00 per hour

Your new company
A busy Colchester based company that is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team for a temporary 2 month contract initially paying £10-£11 per hour.

Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be solely responsible for reconciling statements against returns, be able to deal with aged items on the system, payment runs, journals and deal with expenses on an adhoc basis. You will be able to deal with upwards of 250 invoices per week.

What you'll need to succeed
As their purchase ledger clerk you will need to have keen attention to detail, be able to think outside of the box and problem solve without prompting. You will be able to manage differing payment schedules and be comfortable with manual processing.

What you'll get in return
As Purchase Ledger you will receive an attractive hourly salary of £10-£11 per hour, parking on site, sole responsibility for the accounts payable section of the business with opportunities to help out in other areas if you wish and after 2 months there could be the scope to stay on longer.
