Our client school is a thriving secondary school for 11-16 year olds located in the heart of the Broadland area only 12 miles from the centre of Norwich. They have embarked on a transformational journey to become ‘The Outstanding School’ in the Broadland and coastal area. With 64% Grades 4 – 9 in English and Maths GCSEs in 2017, they have made firm steps on their journey to becoming a centre of excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a new team as they transform the educational provision for young people in their area. Our client school seek to appoint an innovative leader who has a strong vision for the Science curriculum. The Science Faculty has a strong history of high academic standards achieving good results and progress for students. The Science Faculty follow the AQA specification and offer Double and Triple Award GCSE. The Head of Faculty will lead a new team of three colleagues from September 2018 and will be closely supported by their Vice Principal, an experienced Science specialist.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching all three subjects to GCSE level with the ability to specialise in at least two. Applications are encouraged from both currently practising and aspiring Heads of Faculty, with extensive support on offer for the successful applicant.
