Our client is a well-established, service provider to the insurance market offering expertise and support to clients in the UK and internationally, across a wide range of functions.
You will be joining an expanding team of claims specialists based in our clients London City office.
Your new role
You will be responsible for handling North American Claims all via Binders. The role will be a complete 360 degree claims handling position working with clients, underwriter's and other stakeholders in the claims process. You will also be required to undertake some broking face to face with Underwriters.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience of processing claims within US/North American Risks together with experience of Lloyd's market systems. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to the management of claims, ensuring all relevant information, documentation etc is collated, analysed and distributed effectively in order to avoid any delays. You will be responsible for registering new claims, updating claims information, negotiating settlements with insurers and arranging payments.
Through regular updates and collaboration with clients, you will provide high levels of customer service.
