An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client are currently looking for a Web & Digital Assistant Manager (Project) to work in the Homecare Brand, based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars in London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying between £35,000 - £37,050 per annum pro rata depending on experience.

Main Job Purpose

Global Digital Assistant Project Manager - Home Care

We are looking for an eager Digital Project Manager to help step-up our Digital marketing across the Home Care Division. The project includes working across all Home Care brands, at both a global and local level. The role is to project manage the deployment of our digital strategy rollout via infrastructure, website properties and content.

Main roles & responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to coordinate the overall delivery of the full project scope - including website design, UX, SEO, digital assets and content
  • Be the central point of contact between Home Care global & local Marketing and full agency network
  • Own the project timeline ensuring all parties deliver on time and sharing regular status updates to all key stakeholders
  • Participate and coordinate weekly calls with the global brands and agencies
  • Ensure all specs, requirements and deliverables are communicated and adhered to
  • Review processes to identify potential risks & create plans to mitigate
  • Review dates to ensure that projects remain on target
  • Document learnings, share & include them in the process and the overall project documentation
  • Obtain the information needed to coordinate and monitor progress across all projects
  • Ensure all digital properties are developed in accordance with both Unilever and legal requirements
  • Engaging local markets - ensure local market requirements are actioned, inspire and engage local teams, including championing and cascading the digital tools at their disposal
  • Ensure a smooth delivery for the project, following the defined process, and delivering On Time In Full and on budget
  • Deliver key executional/operational tasks as and when needed to maintain project timelines (e.g.: tagging, URL redirect, content uploads etc)


Experience & Skills required:

  • Excellent Digital Project Management skills with a strong sense of autonomy; leading agencies, giving creative feedback, and presenting cases for internal approval to land project OTIF
  • PM (Prince2) certified is a benefit but not mandatory
  • Good level of digital knowledge - UX, SEO, website build, development, content
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Enterprise Management suite is a benefit but not mandatory
  • Experience in FMCG digital marketing would be beneficial including the ability to understand/interweave different strategies and Digital media channels as well as the role they play within the Marketing Mix
  • Proven experience working with multiple agencies of different disciplines - media, design, SEO, digital, content, measurement
  • Consumer-focused - must exhibit a good understanding of real online behavior
  • Excellent relationship management both virtually and in-person - will need to be able to influence and communicate effectively via Skype
  • Team-player with positive attitude and a pro-active thinker and problem-solver - we need positive energy and ideas on how to do things better
