The role of Billing Manager is ultimately to lead, manage and inspire a busy operational team ensuring that bills are delivered in a timely and accurate manner (circa £140m per annum) together with being compliant with all its regulatory processes.

As Billing Manager, you will ensure that all tasks performed by the Billing team are carried out accurately and in a timely way. You will be responsible for maximising the number and accuracy of bills produced on a monthly basis, minimising billing issues and ensuring the systems are accurate. Through generating reports and carrying out analysis, you’ll be focused on performance and process improvement, identifying ways to simplify and improve customer experience.

With a passion for delivering excellent customer service and with previous experience in a similar role you’ll be used to resolving complex billing issues. You’ll be an engaging and motivational manager and will have successfully managed, coached and inspired an operational team. You’ll have knowledge of high volume collections, credit and billing procedures as well as regulatory and compliance frameworks and the best practice related to billing, collection and credit control. Highly proficient in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, you will be familiar with a customer relationship and billing software system such as SAP.
