Our prestigious client, who are a vibrant community school, are currently looking for an Examinations Officer to join their team.

They are seeking a highly organised and suitable candidate to be responsible for the management or the internal and external exams process. A successful candidate will be numerate and familiar with Excel and a SIMS Exams Organiser.

This position is term time only + 20 days (5 inset days, 10 days to be worked during the summer break and 5 other days)

Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain an up-to-date working knowledge on examination entry requirements and access arrangements criteria
- To keep up-to-date with necessary policies, procedures, rules and regulations laid down by the different examination bodies
- To plan appropriate timetabling and room arrangements for exams, to resolve any clashes, organise the rooms with the exam regulations and to ensure that proper examination invigilation for all exams are put into place
- To be present and available in school on the days when results are notified and to receive examination results and certificates and to make arrangements for their issue
- To work with liaison with the nomination members of the Senior Leadership team and Assessment and Data Officer
- To generate and compile the printing of interim reports and full school reports for all year groups
- To be responsible for the examinations budget and ensure that the costs of retakes are reimbursed by the candidates
- To support parents and students access to their online school data when available
- To ensure that all examinations start and finish appropriately in line with the examination board regulations

Person Specification:
- Good knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and relevant software, including SIMS
- To be very well organised and produce high quality work that meets all deadlines
- Able to understand data, analyse and interpret it for a range of audiences
- Able to problem solve in response to queries from subject leaders, parents and students
- To be motivated to use your initiative and identify areas for self-development
